I've got one yard of this cool fabric for my mom-in-law and I'd like to do something with it so that she can take it to the beach with her. Any ideas? I was thinking of some sort of wrap or something, but I am looking for other possibilities also. It's a typical weight cotton.

    Thanks!

a wrap would be cool, and beach coverups would probably be the best way to go with it. Try making a summery, beachy skirt, or a tube dress. Anything cloathing that is floaty would probably be good. Or, you could make a blanket, or a funky beach bag.

um... good question. It's off of a standard bolt, they are like 43 inches? I'll measure it tonight!

How about wrap shorts for a bathing suit cover up?

I think a cute bag would be nice...something big enough to hold sunscreen,a bottle of water, etc. Then again,a wrap would also be nice....decisions,decisions :)
