yahoo for you bare foot bunny hug~ and if you have chosen this lifestyle for the right reasons, i am sure you will find it a very satisfying and fullfilling way to live. for some advice, i recommend reading much literature about the subject, to ensure you still are getting everything that your young developing body requires. also..become an avid label reader!!! i cannot stress that enough. a product may on the outside appear innocent, but as you start to question some of those other ingerdients, you will find very often that they are made from animal by-products. ie> Vit. D3...bad..derived from sheep. white sugar..bad..goes through bone filtration. glycerine..etc etc etc. the list is staggering, on the amount of 'hidden' animal products in proccesed foods. my biggest advice is to eat whole foods, which you know are animal free. make sure you can identify ALL the ingredients. i was dissapointed after 4 months of my new lifestyle, that the things i thought were good...really werent. i am now 3 years vegan, and 12 years veg, and i LOVE it!! have fun..be creative..and spread the word~
good for you, we're both just starting out being vegans, i've been vegetarian since february of last year, and like most people would i agree i've never felt better, recently i just haven't had the desire to eat any dairy (cheese was the only thing i ate), and i can definitely feel a difference, just knowing what i'm eating.
