http://www.styxworld.com/listingsEntry.asp?ID=281325&PT=Media Ahaha, check out this streaming video... Styx covering I Am The Walrus. And I must say, I like it.
Thats pretty absurd ..... and its funny cause when I saw them in concert like last summer, their drummer was weraing that same Darkness shirt
my friend stole a copy of the styx cover of walrus. On close inspection we noticed that it was created with a home cd burner and cd label maker. We laughed at that a bit, shrieked when we heard the horrible attempt at reproducing a beatles classic, then threw the cd out the car window.
I've never really liked new Styx. Then again, I've only listened to bits & pieces of their newer stuff. But anyway, that music video is too weird for me to handle. ...and is it just me, or does Lawrence sing in a British accent in this one?
the winnipeg band "the waking eyes" does beatles covers at their concerts...when they did "i am the walrus", they got the crowd to do the "wooo" part...i hear they also doa kick ass "come together"
Eh... Lawrence sounds same as usual on this one. I actually like his voice and playing a lot more than Dennis. He has that odd Scotch/Canadian mixed accent. I Am The Walrus and Summer In The City are the only two I actually like on the new album they put out this May. They also did CSNY's Find the Cost Of Freedom. Other than that, I just like a couple songs on Cyclorama and some of the Brave New World stuff and some of their old stuff, other than that, I hope I never have to hear Mr. Roboto again .
