    hey you all!!

i know that the constant advise around here is .'leave them alone to do their thang', but i was wondering......

i dreaded my hair about 3 months ago, and i love them. all natural after 2 applications of wax. all them horror stories scared me off forever!

so i have dreads just past my shoulders, and i was wondering about all them loops i got going on. they look super silly, to the point where i dont ever really wear my hair down. there is some with 2-4 loops coming outta the sides.i love tying them up, or wearing head scarves, but i was wondering what i can actively do to get them loops to get inside and tighten up. i wash me dreads about twice a week, and when they are wet i spend much time seperating and palm rolling.

so any advice? hoping for sumpin other than 'leave them alone to do their thang' but i can take that too!

    peace!

do you mean feed it through the side loops??
i have been crocheting them through the top to keep my roots tight, but i have never thought of looping them through the loops..you really think it will work eh?

I love your sig picture as well.

I have the loops all over my head as well, they only formed when I sleep with my hair out though, when I sleep with my hair tied back or something I don't get them. I have been palmrolling them but they dno't seem to be going away. Sorry I have no advice.

I've had my dreadies for 11 months and I still have those loopies all over the place. On some of the more annoying ones, I sewed them with colorful thread to pull them together...others, I've just left...they do their thing anyway :)
