had the pleasure of watching it last night. really liked the jars of clay " kaiser chiefs and keith urban . saying that" everyone who gave their time up for live 8 "well done people" thumbs up. nice one philly.
i was at the philly live 8, and the sheer volume of people was pretty astounding, they seemed to stretch out forever in every direction. we only stayed at the show for about 2-3 hours because it was impossible to get a good comfortable spot to chill and watch the show. we live only about a ten minute walk to the stage, but with the road cut off, it turned into about a 45 minute walk, so nobody wanted to hike down again. but seeing floyd sitting on the living room couch with bong in hand was easily the highlight of the day, maybe week or month.
