Hey, i have never taken a psychedelic except for Salvia Divinorum. I am about to start a medication that is known to possibly cause depression and suicidal thoughts. I'm kind of worried about it because i've only just dipped my toe in the long long river of psychedelics. Do you think that this medication will have any effects on my trip? should i stay away from psycedelics while i'm on it? it's called accutane. If anyone has been on it in the past and is an expiranced psychedelic user maybe they could help subside my worry's thanks
why would you take a med, with side effects like deppresion and suicidal thoughts? dosent seem worth it to me.
yeah, personally i would agree that you'd be better off not taking the accutane. and if ur serious about tripping, u'll realize is a much more powerful medicine which me help you see the source of the problem ur taking accutane for (i'm guessing its acne), and give u the chance to start changing bad habits... you may also find that the serious psychological side-effects are not worth it for cosmetic reasons.. thats just me though, but i will note that an (ex) friend of mine had genetic depression taht was completely unleashed by accutane. he almost killed himself before my other friend told his mom. this kids seriously depressed and has personality problems resulting that makes everyone want to stay away from him. this kids really fucked up, lots of drug problems, in and out of the hospital and rehab... accutanes dangerous man.
I don't believe there is any interaction between LSD and that particular medication. However, since Accutane is a very weird medication with a huge list of side-effects (some of which are severe), I would not recommend you take LSD while on Accutane. There is seriously no telling what the combination could bring about, physically or mentally. I would not advise you to do it.
Though the side effects are very serious, the severe ones are uncommon. I have done alot of reflecting on going through with the accutane treatment and not going through with it and i'm leaning more towards going through with it. It is a 7th month period of treatment. Has anyone ever used accutane and can tell me some of their personal opinions/expirences? thanks wil
