my little sister found by bowl today (i have to admit that i did leave it on my bedroom floor, that was my bad) she told me that when grows up she doesnt want to be anything like me. man does life blow. hard to belive that lil 5th grader even knows what a bowl is, times change, and its sucking right now. and she'll never forgive me, she thinks im a weird hippie who smokes "something" in her room everyday, and now she knows its pot. guess there are no changing her thoughts of me. shit.

 

Give her three or four more years and I'll bet you'll be discussing this with her while tokeing up and laughing about it.

 

yer kids are so anti-drugs. i remember i was. how stupid was i.

 

yea i was that way to my cousin. then i smoked. now we smoke together and laugh about it.

 

Either try to re-educate her now, or wait a 3 years; she'll be all about smoking by then I bet. Me, for example, I swore that I would never touch alcohol much less those deadly drugs like marijuana (to be young and naive...); come 9th grade, I grow interested, 10th, I get high for the first time. Smoking 3 times a day months later (off and on buying, once every-other month with breaks).

 

Heh, I remember my attitude in fifth grade. I actually won a DARE essay contest against drugs, but I knew and said to my older brothers and cousins "I know I don't want to mess with crack or heroin or anything, but I'll probably smoke sometimes..."
I was a bit openminded about things. I suppose I started a bit younger than most people around here, too. 7th grade? I 'unno.

My little brothers and sisters are a good deal younger than that, but they already know if you're smoking something other than a cigarette chances are you're smoking pot. They don't say anything about it, though.

 

Start studying up on cannabis. Sooner or later your sister will realize that there's really nothing wrong with it at all, and she'll probably ask you about it.

You probably should wait 'til next year, or sometime, to tell her the truth about it. In a way she could understand, of course. Then, when she's ready to try it, she'll come to you.

when i was little my mom would always tell me about all the drugs going aroud in the schools...and i didnt even belive it was going on anymore...i kept thinking that people didnt do drugs any more

1-5th grade ---nothing

6-8th grade still nothing

9th grade...BAM...a shit load of any drug u could imagine
10th grade even more drugs...

hehe i guess she was right...but as a little kid even thow someone told me ther would be drugs i didnt even belive em'

so anyway...little kids dont belive everything you tell them so i would say wait till she is a few years older...she will be able to understand the truth by then

too badly i never graduated DARE because even in 6th grade i beleive that people should have the right to do wtf they want. but i also listened to some rap so they were always talking about how cool drugs were.
i was reading go ask alice at the time of the graduation.
to bad i now realize how terribly fabricated the book is.

 

I used to be like everyone was at one point. Very close minded.
Not till grade 9 ppl started doing drugs. Thats about when i learnt ppl smoked pot i think. Before that i thought drugs were sniffed but mostly needles.
I wasn't introduced to alcohol till sometime in grade 11 i think but i'd never touch that i said. Grade 12 came i was depressed always about something it seemed and drank some smirnofs in the summer because it tasted so good and realized alcohol ain't that bad. Then i got drunk of course sometime during the year. After being drunk and drinking realizing its not so bad, i decided on a concoius mind one day i wanna try weed and i got an opening and took it!

One of the better decisions, i really became open minded this year and still becoming : D

at any rate, ppl generally get onto nalchohol when their 15, so, yr 9 here where i live, and then get heaps into it when theyre 16, yr 10.
i dont see how u find smirnoff tastes good i hate teh taste of vodka. good ol scotch is my favourite spirit.

i knew i was going to try drugs when ir elised how much of an alcho i was, i thought i needed somehting else, so now ive replaced booze with whooze.

i think starting late is bad, but too early is bad too. ppl r missing out if they spend their teen years sober. but young kids shudnt do drugs caus theyre still growing.

 

Yah i find too young isn't good, but i felt it was a prime time for me to start experimenting, especially since i was mature enough to have an open mind.
For now let the kids be close minded because there too young to understand why people do these things, in know i couldn't understand when i was there age.

Well a year ago I didn't want to have anything to do with marijuana. Now I'm a daily smoker, lol. So maybe your sister will change her mind.

 

Yeah I know what you mean i'm in year 9 and there's even more stoners in year 10 and then year 11 is full of pill poppers.

 

just give her a couple years and youll be smoking with her. trust me it happens to just about everyone who is antidrug. i was introduced to acid at the age of 8 and started smoking weed daily at age 10, so i was never really anti drug. ah fun times

yea one of my aunt and uncle are old hippies, and i guess i sad i wanna be like them when i was 7 or 8 i dont remember so they tried to...i dunno put me on the right path i guess. out of all the shit ive done that trip really sticks in my mind, i was with my aunt in her living room...ah fun times i wish i could go back i wouldnt change a damn thing

 

Hey my little sister saw me smoking a jay but she thought it was a cig... Fucking lucky me. I talked to her about it and she was understanding (never have I been so impressed with the intelligence of a nine year old.) Kids are brainswashed to believe drugs are bad. I remember me at that age as well. When my friends started to smoke I acted with fear and ignorance. I brought up facts that weren't very acurate, shit like bad grades and the like. Once I began to understand for myself the truth about these evil evil drugs I became much more accepting. She'll come around... or hate you forever and be a crazy right wing conservative... Its a coin-toss really
