Does anyone have any reliable info on the height of the worlds tallest pot plant? I looked in the Guiness Book of World Records and it wasn't there. Billbeau
Tallest I've ever seen personally is 13.5' tall. I've heard in S.E. Asia they get to be 20' tall, but I don't know this for a fact
my friend has pictures of one that was 17ft that their group seen while on their class trip to germany
Last I knew the guiness world book of records had one recorded from the jungles of columbia at 42 foot tall. 17 to 24 foot is no problem for a nice sativa or f1 hybrid...Some pakistani indicas get 12- 18 foot tall as well. Imagine that- most indica varieties only get five foot tall at an average. tie
While not the tallest, I recall reading awhile ago about an interesting use for stretching the plant. In a nutshell, the guy had a walk-under grape trellice set up outside his place with (naturally) plenty of grapes vining there way up and across it. He planted weed intermittently among the grapes and would constantly prune the lower leaves to make it stretch. In the end he had a stretched out pot plant completely barren along it's length, but growing a nice bushy flowering head above the grape leaves out of site! Definetly thought it an interesting method of camoflage though I'm curious of how healthy overall the plant would be under that kind of conditions.
Thats an interesting way of doing it. I like it when people use their heads and come up with different ways to grow. It shows the intelligence and ingenuity of the marijuana culture. I want to grow a plant hydroponicly in a 55 gallon drum outside for the entire growing season just to see how big it will get. Billbeau
Big bud will grow to well over 20ft outdoor but is supposidlly an eratic grower thats why they cross it with other strains, the kolas regularly snap off under their own weight if not supported
I wanna see this one... [Quote}I want to grow a plant hydroponicly in a 55 gallon drum outside for the entire growing season just to see how big it will get {Quote}
