Savings bonds

    I have over $1,400 in savings bond and need some of the money now...... just a hundred of it. I was just wondering how do I cash it and such.

    Depends on what kind of bonds they are... If they are U. S. Government bonds go to a bank and talk to a teller they will cash it

    yeah you go to a bank and they look up the exact price you will get and you sign your name and address. very easy

    the face value of the bond is the price u get at maturity, and i don't think you can just cash out a portion of the bond, you have to cash in the whole thing Em

    Well I cashed four of them.... I didn't get much money but considering they were only started at $25 each I feel happy about.
