Got caught by some popo at around 11 on july 4th. I had the weed on me and they searched since past curfew. We were at a park smoking a bowl when they came lol. The great thing is i wasnt scared one bit when i was being arrested or whatever, it was kind of a cool experience lol. But my dad isnt too happy and my mom is going to be pissed. :O W/e peace.
I've broken curfew like 20 times and never had a cop search me for it, you got some harsh cops where you live man.
no it really isn't a cool experience. Around here if you are arrested for pot, it means you will get drug tested for at least 90 days. Not too cool.
All thats going to happen is a fine in court im guessing. They compared it to an expensive traffic violation or something because of it being my first time.

If I ever get that shit, fuck it. I'd rather go to jail then have to piss in a cup for some fucking pigs for two years.
around here alot of my friends have been arrested for possesion. If its your first offense and your under 18 the punishment is almost always 30 hours of community service. When my best friend got arrested for possesion with intent to sell it was a whole nother story though.
I don't like how you can get busted for intent to sell. I mean, they don't arrest me if I think to my self "Im gonna try robbing a bank". Shit, if I had weed, I intend to smoke it.
NORML's laws are like worst-case scenario I think... I've known people to get caught smoking 3 times, and still only get community service and probation. I've never met anyone who's gone to jail for having a personal amount of marijuana. But they do arrest you for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. Think about it, you get pulled over and you have an altoids tin with (8) 1 gram baggies, it's clearly obvious what your intentions are, same as if you had schematics to a bank, with a big circle on the money vault, and an AK-47. edit- I just realized how retarded that comparison was.... intent to sell vs robbing a bank with an ak.
I've met a few who have had the option of eather going to jail or getting probation for posession, and I live in Colorado, where the worse-case-scenario, even on NORML, is 100$ fine for an ounce. I've noticed that kids seem to get fucked more then adults do for posession, especially in Colorado. Adults get a 100$ fine at most. Kids? All sorts of probation and community service. I'd much rather shell out 100 bucks then "give back to the community" that I never hurt in the first place. I guess I've been lucky so far, my town has some pretty chill cops. The judges are dicks, though.
No victim, no crime. Where I live if it's less than a twenty they confiscate it and let you off with a warning.
Yeah, same thing in Boulder. Cops usually just ignore it if they find it around here. Its those judges that'l get ya though.
