american style rolling vs european

Ok ive been wondering this for ages about how most americans never use backy in there spliffs were as ppl in europe like me are always using backy.

first of all i hate backy so i use only the absolute nessacery (sp?), and the main reason i use it is because i only ever smoke resin.

however i have stubled across a fair share of skunk in my time an found that trying to roll without backy uses a hell of alot of weed and burns so fast!

however with high power strains only small amouts of weed are needed in joints to get u high as well so it seems silly to put any more weed than wot is desired.

sum clarity on this matter would be much appreciated!

 

ive never smoked backy in a j. idk y but ur right joints burn fast or at least here they do (bein strait mj ). i have no idea why its diff here alot of ppl here thinks tobacco is too nasty to touch so that may play in to it other then that idk. one time we tried it in a blunt and it burned better but it was so harsh on ur throat. also u guys have hash which needs a mix in a joint

 

Yeah, I never used tobacco in my joints. That stuff is for idiots who want cancer.

You say that skunk gets you high on a very small amount, so why put more in the joint than you need...well, because you don't have to smoke the whole joint all at once. I never needed that much weed to get stoned, so I'd take a few hits, put it out, and just use that joint again next time till it's gone. Putting tobacco in with the weed so you can smoke a whole joint is dumb and kills your lungs; who cares if you don't smoke the whole thing?

Anyways, I use bowls/bongs now, joints are too wasteful.

 

Yeah I've also heard since tobacco is a stimulant, it kinda brings you up more when you are stoned.

The only time I get tobacco when I smoke is if we smoke a blunt. I dont like tobacco tho..

I wonder if there are other herbs that you could put in there that would stimulate something?

Well, if you have really good herb, just make a skinny J. Even that may be more that you need to get high, so dont smoke it unless you want to get fucked! No one that I know in the states ever really cuts the pot with tobacco. Smoking tobacco is becoming VERY unwelcomed in the states now. In MA you cant smoke inside any ublic building anymore (such as bars, resturaunts, clubs) and alot of people are jumping on the anti smoking bus. Alot of the younger generations have had it drilled into their heads that cigarets are pure evil.

 

wow, here in the uk so many young kids smoke cigs its rediculous...lol today was so funny, my mate who had fags got loads of kids to dance singing twinkle twinkle little star just for a fag...lol it was fuckin ridiculour, they were like crack whores

but it was very funny, this one kid did really fucked up crazy dancin which i found hilarious but at the same time pittyed him

 

If you've got good herb, roll up a fat blunt. No skinny j's here. Other than the wrapping, I never add tobacco.

 

only time im smoking tobacco with weed is when its a blunt because the wrap is obviously made of tobacco... otherwise screw all that baccy shit... i dont smoke cigaweed... when im smokin herb i want the taste of herb and nothin else... just put your joint out after you're high... you can always relight it or save'em up for a second generation joint....

the real difference between euro and american style joints lies in the rolling technique.

euro style encorporates a tippie as a "filter" but mainly to hold on to something stiff, instead of the american style where you hold on to the part of the joint that you will end up smoking and burning your fingers.

euro style is cone shaped whereas american is fat in the middle and tapered on both ends.

euro style is often rolled inside out so that the excess paper can be burned off, thus smoking only one layer of paper instead of smoking the whole paper, as the american style does.

basically, european rolling is cool, safer, and has class. none of my american friends roll american joints anymore. if you ever go to europe, you'll know.

 

All of my friends stopped smoking joints. We're blunt sluts now.

benafits:
your stash lasts longer, you dont smoke more of it but you still get stoned.
While smoking, you get a nicotine rush. its lame but it makes it funner and does this: me and my friends sort of see it as.. when you get stoned just weed.. it slowly comes on. but when you use tobacco, you have that instant nicotine rush, which, in stoners, stimulates a small high to begin with, on top of the headrush. then as the headrush wears off, the stone comes on. so its sort of transitional.
I think it tastes good in joints, the mix. ive found the taste of plain marijuana isnt anything special, but when you mix it with tobacco, its sorta like a fruit salad compared to just chopped apple.

its habit forming if you smoke it with tobacoc, btu if you already smoke cigarettes, try it, you might like it.

and harshness is relative. if you never smoke tobacco, ti will be harsh, depending on how the joint is rolled. people who smoke it with tobacco all teh time say its really harsh going straight green. Ive come to understand harshness as the lungs way of saying 'this is not normal' as opposed to 'this is harsh smoke'

unless it burns your lung, which it shouldnt.

 

I use tobacco in mine because I like the taste better, but I usually use a bong...and I don't like Js or Pipes cause I like having the smoke cooled

I use a roach, but my joints are rarely ever cone shaped. I never mastered that, it always ends up either straight or fat in the middle. I have yet to try the inside out rolling, how do you do that?

 

you fold the paper's crease the other way, and then its pretty obvious, when your thinkning to try to get rid of paper

cone shaped are definately awesome... especialyl when its really big at one end... caus the cherry is like a huge red ball of fire, its awesome to look at when really stoned ahah

 

i was givin this some thought last nighht about the tobaco mix issue. americans are all anti tobacco but i think they kno the benefits of a mix, they just do it in a suttle way, the blunt. maybe thas why blunts are so big here because its like a mix without the guilt of smokin "tobacco" or at least strait up tobacco
