    does anyone else like this movie? i really like robert deniros character in the movie (cant remember his name right now) one of my favorites.

    Fuckin-A, man.... Marten Scorsesie(sp) is a great director.... and DeNiro plays a badass psycho.....

    it was a good film but i didnt like his character. acting was good.. but the character he was portraying.. nope i hate the guy

    I didnt get the scene when he goes to see the election speech and the cops chase him away, and then.. thats it.

    but the rest of its good

    Good actors (Jodie Foster too!), good director, good and dark story!

    Travis Bickle was his charectors name.

    Great film, definitely captures the gritty vibe of 70's NY.

    Definitely, I lived in the Lower East-Side in the mid '70s, and you better like cockroaches.

    He went to kill that phoney politician so that innocent girls like Sybil Sheppard wouldn't be minipulated by such phoneys.

    But he wasn't too suble with that crazy mohawk and that suggestive interogation of the secret service guy.

    I think that scene, because it shows him ready to be an assassin, really sets-up the next scene where he does commit murder and instead of being a hunted assassin, instead, ends up a hero.

    The razor thin difference between criminal and hero.
