In all this discussion of conspiracy, (which i doubt, partly because of the fact that these attacks were timed to kill as many people as possible (rush hour) rather than just scare us, and for a government to do that is extremly counterproductive in the long run) i think weve lost the fact that whoever was behind it, has killed people, regardless of why, i think the most compassionate and helpful thing any of us can do right now is send positive vibes/ prayers /whatever to the family and friends of those hurt or killed. for most of you, you wont know anyone affected, but for those of us who do, who live in london, who's family and friends live in london, who could have been hurt, and have been, this is scary and heart renching, whoever was responsible.

Its not the same when you are not there, but when i saw 9/11, i felt as outraged and sad as i do when it happens on my doorstep as i have compassion for everone, regardless of their location.

many people will be level headed enough to remember that the measures taken in america after 9/11 are not exactly user friendy to most of the population, restict their freedom and discriminate against people by their race, regardless of any wrongdoing, i dont think the UK will ever accept that, and will be able to see that if these terrorists want to do these things, they will find a way, if we change our society because of these acts, we have all lost, and whoever the perpetraitors are will have won, that not our way im afraid.

we live in a dangerous world, because of the way some people are, we can only begin to make it safer for all if we stop fighting oneanother and responding to threats with the same extremety as those that provide them.

So me, im just gonna pray for the people, and by my thoughts and actions try to develop a more peaceful vibe in my small sphere of influence. Those who do these things have their reasons, they often feel persecuted, im not condoning their actions, i just think in a way, with our governments, and some of our peoples, lust for power and supremacy, we have brought it on ourselves.

Thoughts and prayers to all those suffering.xxxx

Prayers, love, hope and peace to you and all members of England. I am sorry this happened. I remember after 9/11 there was a lot of "they deserved it" "they did it themselves" "who cares? everyone hates Americans." It is despicable to blame the victim in situations like this, and the victims are the everyday people. (Blaming the Government, and those who blindly followed their lies is an other story, though.) My thoughts are with you and other human British people.

I am so sorry your country is feeling the pain it is feeling right now. I wish there was some way to make it better.

    Prayers, peacea and love, hugs,

    Maggie
