okay, before jumping to any conclusions, let me just tell you that my man has very sensitive skin and sometimes during summer has a red, slightly itchy rash on both sides of his bikini line. however, after many days of sweating a lot, (he was at an exercise based camp for 10 days) his actual penis is sorta peeling. the top half is reddish and a bit raw looking and the skin is peeling a bit on it. the bottom half is fine, as is his bikini line. he says it started (he thinks) when he doused tea tree oil on the whole area, in hopes of not developing that bikini rash. he has since been putting on a soft, herbal ointment that seems to be making the area a bit better - less tender and peely. this is very strange to me, and i KNOW he hasn't any std or anything like that, so please do not go in that direction. just wondering if anyone has experienced similar problems and/or might think up some solution to help with the issue.

It could very well be jock itch, or irritation from the tea tree oil. I would NOT put undiluted tea tree oil on my penis! Get some Lamisil cream, and have him apply it twice a day for 7 days. Alternatively, he can use Lotrimin (clotrimazole) cream, which is available in generic and is cheaper, but he should use it for 14 days.

Well, no, not Jock Itch, per se, but you can get a fungal skin infection on the penis. It may be a yeast, or a tinea something.
