Harold adn Maude is my favorite movie, cat stevens music is half the reason. does anyone else like cat stevens
I'm afraid I'm not a big Cat fan (don't dislike him, mind you, but still...) but this is one of my all time favourite movies. Almost makes me want to meet a nice, crazy old lady...
The movie's great...music in the movie is phenomenal. I love the last scene of that movie. Geez,I wish I owned it,I haven't seen it in a long time.
my boyfriend absolutely looooooves cat stevens. he salways tells me to see harold and maude but i just haven't gotten around to it yet. i like cat stevens too, just not as much as my boyfriend.
Oh my God, that movie is one of my very favorites - I ABSOLUTELY love it! And the music is wonderful as well, I love Cat Stevens
I notice some folks have strange reactions to 'Harold and Maude'. Even strong reactions if they saw it while young enough. It seems to linger in the minds of certain types. I'll meet one every now and again. I hope it's healthy; I think it is. Anyway, I thought the movie was,,,,provocative?
I felt like I was floating the first time I seen it. It left me breathless and silent. Perfect in every way.
I have seen this movie more times than I have seen any other movie on this earth other than "Trainspotting". No movie, I repeat, no movie has touched my heart as much as this one did. I love every single thing about it. Plus, the soundtrack opened my ears to some great Cat Stevens songs that I have never heard, and now love love love.
Harold and Maude is one of the few movies that comes to mind when anybody asks me what my "favorite" movie is. and thats a major compliment considering I own over 500 movies myself and am terrible at choosing favorites.
Easily my favorite movie. I saw it back in high school and it definitely had a huge impact. I show it to at least one new person every year. In high school I tried to talk my theater teacher (the one who introduced me to the film, bless him) into performing Colin Higgins original play. Unfortunately, he decided that the rural Texas community in which we lived was not quite ready for that...probably still isn't...
ruth gordon is the shit in this movie man. i love her line about liberating the canaries from the pet stores. classic. then she steals the tree to liberate it from the city their relationship i thought was creepy only because of the age difference. i have no problem with people doing stuff with older people but that age is over the line for me. but if they enjoyed it that's all that matters, right? peace out and 420 to all!! :]
great movie and soundtrack. i'm sure i've seen it a hundred times now. through the movie i was thankfully introduced to Cat Stevens.
