DAMMIT!! Alright, here is my problem. I'm looking for a job, I've got a welding certification, but all the welding jobs require a drug test. I quit using drugs months ago, and I know they are out of my system. But now I am having second thoughts. Why should I get a job that is going to take my privacy and flush it down the drain? It pisses me off. alot. By the way.. Does anyone know of any good paying jobs that are not going to piss test me? THEY WANT MY HEAD TO EXPLODE!!!
yeah drug tests are lame..in my opinon anyways. people say 'well they do serve a good purpsoe, etc etc' but WHATEVER. well , maybe since u havent done it in a while, wen u 'test' u will be clear...but then u can start doing it again! they only test u once, right? but yes i think its stupid...i wudnt like 2 have a job if theyre gonna test me. and as for good paying jobs..well, i wudnt know much about that.
My dad says people at his company get random hair test every year.. So it depends where you work if they only do one...
i just got a job where they piss test you just to start the job. thank god i didnt smoke for about 4 days before my interview, now all i have to do is hold out till monday and ill for sure pass it.
Are you serious? I'm a welder and I don't think many places around here do drug tests. If they did then companys would have a hell of a time finding welders, since probably half the welders out here do drugs, lol. I work with my buddy and I think he told me that my company drug tests before I started there, but he was probably just saying that to try and get my to quite smoking pot, lol. I guess in BC nobodys gonna care if you smoke pot or not. Another buddy of mine that I work with is always talking about how stoned me and him got after work,and the bosses never seem to care. That would suck if you have your welding certification but don't go into welding, theres good money in it. Just try and go for a job even if they say they drug test, maybe they wont care if its only pot. If your a good welder then maybe they wont care, or even think of drug testing you as long as your working hard.
WTF? like where do u ppl live??? for every job i've had, and every job every single one of my friends has had, no one has ever had to take a piss test not even the ppl i know who run companies and shit, nothing!
It seems that whenever I wanted a job I didn't want to smoke pot and the pot was always available. Now I don't want a job, and want to smoke all the time, but the weed has vanished. Who is up there pulling the strings I wonder.
