the world moves thru ages as we all know.. and as a lot of us know we are fast approaching the age of aquarius, we are ,as we speak, in the process of age change. it started at the turn of this millenium and will be over by 2012 (based on the myan calender) and in my oppinion what we are witnessing in london, in america, madrid, iraq, and all over is a cumilation of a confused global conciousness. the age of gemini gave way to the age of taurus, in this age hinduism and the the first real grasp of spirituality occured. along with this being an age of intelligence, written language occured. this gave way to the age of aries, here we see the formation of the islamic faith and the age of the muslim, and judism, this shift in global consciousness came at the same time as agriculture and with agriculture comes settlements. this new way of life obviously needs a more stable religous structure and so the shifting of conciousness gaveway to these new ways of worship. then around 200ad not 0ad as most would think, came the age of piscies. and here we see the birth of christianity. by this time we have well developed settlements and population increases dramatically because of such. this population increase, and expansion of ideas calls on a new religious ideology to be created and so christianity is born... more of a tool than a religion, it places only small socially acceptable boundries on it believers( in comparisson), and so premotes growth. with growth comes power and the excelleration of the male ego. it is this ego which has been responsible for most of the attrocities we have seen in the age of piscies. when you start owning things you need to protect them and so this propogational tool(christianity) was perfect for the acceleration in technology. the last 2000 years have given so much in terms of technical evolution. and i belive it is largely due to the need for better ways to "defend". which brings us to now.. the end of an era... a period of change as the global conciousness readies itself for another shift. and by all accounts it should be for the better... we are rapidly descending/ascending toward the age of aquarius and it seems to be building a lot of energy. you can almost feel it in the air. regardless of the destruction which has just occured in london. we could not ask to be on earth at a more exciting time. our generation are the forerunners of this new age. but i predict that the age of piscies and the masculine ego's need for power will turn very dark before we see the light of aquarius. i just hope it doesn't get as dark as it has the potential to become. yes its hippy psyco-bable.. but believe what you will.
from what i heard tony blair say on the television earlier about how we have to put the G8 things into action fast i would predict that things are definitly going to get better but they might also become a little harder during that time, with governments putting more money towards these causes
this beautifully depicts the shifting of which im talking.. on 1 hand you have the ideologis of the aquarian age comming through, with politicians wanting to put the g8 things into action fast, and on the other hand you have the final death throws of a dying era manifesting itself in this almost iminent acceleration toward ww3. these are 2 very different mindsets, but have managed to be co-incide right in the middle of this period of change.

This will be the end of mans naive faith in purely logical science. Early scientists used clay tablets to to predict the time of an eclipse accurately using maths. This is how astrologers became astronomers, more faith was put into this practice because a "cosmic gift" by birth or spiritual tools were not required. Astrologists beliefs were abolished or sneered at by modern skeptics and financially oriented churches designed to control the uneducated masses( for the good of mankind i must also add ). In the "new age of the aquarius" also known by astrologists as Anti-christ we will see more and more people think for themselves as they search for their own spiritual guidance and see clearly the problems caused by extreme religious beliefs. (please don't be offended humble christians, it just means the end of the fear of hell and the devil, not the age that christianity is abolished). once this happens the people who par-take in these atrocities will be seen for the fraudsters they are when they use religion as a reason to gain power, because at the end of the day, as you pointed out smartie, it all boils down to the male ego striving to gain more power, mistaking power for stability may just becaome a thing of the past, but we've along way to go, we need to go back to our roots which will be difficult, but not impossible in the new age of the aquarium.
this is interesting.. i didn't know this but it makes sense really, because christianity was built around the mind set of the age of piscies. everything points to this in the bible... the 2 fish on the plate in every copy of the bible will be hed to tail as in the zodiacal sign. even the symbol for christianity is a fish. but who ever wrote this instruction mannual for the age of piscies new verywell it was just an age.. he left very clear instructions 20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matt. 28:20) "a man will meet you carrying an earthen pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he goes in" (Luke 22:10; Mark 14:13.) this new age is refered to a lot in the bible and denotes the second coming of jesus. but jesus was never a person but a personification of an age. the question is who will write the rules for the next era. and the answer... no one. the age of aquarius is an age of free thinking spirituality.. yay the end of dogmatic principles and dated philosophy.

Now i know this really does sound like psychedelic hippy babble, you see, i think that the sea is already showing signs of letting us know which age we're in, as we're coming into the age of the aquarius the sea is becoming more powerful and forcing the modern day rational thinking inhabitants and new scientists to think about astrology as impotantly as the astronomical sciences, the sea itself is proving that there is much more to the predictions and signs than they would like to have believed, and its no coincidence that see and sea sound like the same word. Ice sounds like Eyes as well, and as we all know its the Ice entering the sea that is forcing science to think about the Earth and it's climate. It's hippy babble but its worth a think. Maybe not though, just having one of those stoned epiphanies.
what a welcoming sight to see the raising of this topic at a moment of deep national crisis 4 u our uranian comrades and fellow travellers in the uk. yes indeed, as each speaker has said the turning of the ages is upon us. it's in full swing i say. i feel it by the acceleration of karmic events when planets and luminaries transit the sky, that most sensitive part of the sky, between the zodiacal signs of pisces and aquarius. things are speeding up as we go through this last burst of piscean energy be4 it ends. at the moment we see the planet neptune, the ruler of pisces, stationed in the sign of aquarius and approaching the cusp, while uranus the ruler of aquarius is in early pisces. this mutual reception is the handover period between the old and the new as in the great platonic year (of about 26500 earth years) we end the month of pisces (2200 years) and enter the next month of aquarius. what will this age mean? it means a radical shake up of consciousness in the collective eleventh house: the house of friends and societies. this is what is needed to bring about a solution to the many crises the world is in. our problems won't change but we will. our ability to be responsible for our own freedom and liberation is suddenly accenuated. our desire to balance individual freedom with communitarian concern will strike a higher vibration. there will be change, and at all costs as we become our own leaders. this is the mantra and the siggle of uranus.
Um, right, this may not be of much interest if you're only interested in astrology but very few people are interested in nothing but astrology, ay? I know this sounds, err, a bit big headed but I have devised a tool that could conceivably allow everone to work for themselves and each other, rather than for their bosses and money, shall I describe it again or link to one of the many forums where I've already described it...hmmm. Copy and paste! It's a website. Communication, in my opinion, is the key. Stephen Hawking agrees (anyone remember the BT ad or the Pink Floyd song). It's about getting skills and goods to where they can do the most good. I'm not much good at website design so I need some help. If anyone is or knows a website designer or programmer with socialist ideals I would be glad to hear from them.
i recently watched a documentary called, "the end of suberbia" its about the dwindling oil and the great demand for fossil fuels. the rate of which the world has grown in the last century is largely due to the concept of electricty. heating, mass media, even music depends on the fact that you have electricty available. but the age of growth and technological evolution is over as we have peaked at oil production and apparently around 2010 is when we will really feel the pinch which quite happily co-incides with the fact that we should be pretty much fucked by 2012. the golden age of video games and microwave meals is rapidly drawing to a close... the future is not flying cars and energy weapons... its close nit comunities and small scale loacalised farming. local energy powerd by wind and solar( if your lucky) but 60% of the rest of the oil in the world is in the persian gulf... but thats running out fast... this is why the middle east is of such importance for the western way of life. the life we have become accostommed to was an oil fuelled dream that our generation has to ride the crest of as the world wakes up. find a partner and hold hands guys... it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
