- steffan Say again. Anyway, if you have any questions about black holes... I am an astronomy major and I am willing to do any research necessary (within the realm of reality) to help you
LOTS OF GRAVITY PARTICLES GET PULLED IN GRUNT GRUNT POINT! normally I contribute, but today........ on this........ not so much.....
its a big hole and stuf... and uh...stuff goes in it... get sucked in..ends up in some fucked up world where nothing works.. I know your all thinking it, and no I didnt mean the USA :-D
yes. suction can be wonderful! but then what would it be without the white explosion? and being bad doesn't always suck.
Yes, when a black hole sucks you in... According to the things I read, black holes'll most likely squish you...because of the extreme gravity you'll encounter.
Black holes are huge flat masses of very very condensed matter with a great gravity pull. If you went through a black hole, you would just come out the other side.
I think it must be something very massive, in every sense of the word. Every galaxie seems to have one, some are highly active, some are not, We live in one of more fortunate galaxies, But we're an island at the mercy of a smoking mountain but what is it,I sapose it could be some sort of giant drain and we're just waiting to get flushed into some cosmic septic tank, seems unlikely. could be the birthplace of stars, the ultimate perpetual motion machine, compressing mater untill it mass becomes as great as is posible and then spewing out the excess to start again
Lucky galaxies? If I remeber correctly we have a black hole in the center of our galaxy. That may not be entirely correct though...
Well we do a huge one with a few billion solar masses. Although technically black holes are still hypothetical what we see does match very well what we'd expect one to 'look' like, so I think we can be fairly confident they exist.
