does anyone know if such a thing exists? and how to get one? We have 5+ acres, with a beautiful little creek. A friend and I bought it together, and gave it to our tribe. We have plans to build, even know how much money we need, its just I cant wait 5 years like we planned. I want to build now. I am in love with the idea, and wish it could happen today. Anyone have any advice?
From one who is in much the same boat but still striving to move on in the vision - I wish you the best. The earth gives mud for walls the trees vigas (rafters) - but still needed is the roof to keep the inside dry and warm. Digging a hole we can live in the womb of the mother and use it with some plastic for growing plants as well - having 1 spot that we tin over for a stove pipe to take the smoke away from it. Should we decide we will Do it in the immediate Now - either a Way will be shown and we will go for it ; or we come to See that we must yet grow more to make it manifest. Make your dreams real - whether in the immediate Now, or in the working together to make it happen. Blessings to you along your Way
There are grants available in creating a cooperative business here in Alberta CANADA....I have been researching as we are part of a women's group who are interested in creating home based businesses and one of the things that I have been exploring is creating a women's cooperative...I would love to create a community house and have a business that helped us sustain our community, using our garden or other creative sources of income.
