Income Tax:Right or Wrong?

better than some other forms of tax, and shit if you know how to it's avoidable with no risk, so don't bitch... research.. geez

 

federal income taxes are unnessary and we really don't have to pay them, but the government doesn't want you to know that, of course. I have a whole book about it somewhere... I'll have to dig it out.

 

The constitution doesn't say taxation is unconstitutional, but it does say that the US government cannot tax peoples income.

Sorry! I have heard others say that this will do more harm than good by increasing the size of government. We don't need that! What we need to do is understand what the law really has to say regarding tax laws. Be sure to check out the following websites:

Income tax should be abolished. Though that will not happen...I wonder if a flat rate would actually work? It sounds promising to me.

 

Taxes wouldn't be all that bad, if it weren't the way they used the money. I don't mind if tghey use our money to fund the army, our police forces, firefighters, and people that work for the government.

However, when they give Israel $1 billion dollars, to aid in the evacuation of the Gaza Strip, on top of the $2.5 billion they've already given to Isreal, that pisses me off.

 

i guess the gov't need money to run this country and get things done but i don't like what they do with the money. i refuse to give any money to the gov't to support their war or all of the other injusteses. that why i don't work.

it doesn't matter. the government will tax you anyway, i think in florida you don't have to pay income tax but because the real estate taxes and other taxes are much higher there it doesn't really matter.

 

another reason i plan to live in a van, or a sailboat. haven't made up my mind. their are allways ways around the system

Yeah, but they shouldn't be allowed to tax people under the age of eighteen, no matter how they do it. Considering that we're not able to vote, we definetly should not be paying taxes. With a sales tax, everybody's forced to pay the tax, no matter how old they are, because the store pays the tax, then the customer pretty much pays the store back, by paying the listed price and 5%. Making anyone who wants to buy anything pay the tax. Resulting in kids, foreign tourists, etc. These taxes would obviously be going against the old term "No taxation without representation"

Sorry for stating the obvious, but taxes are bull shit to be begin with, and a sales tax is even bigger bull.

people talk about the founding fathers like they were smarter than we are TODAY, more than 200 yrs later... jesus, they were racist, wife-beating and cheating white folk, who barely knew anything about math and astronomy and geology or biology or anything that we know about today.... and we keep saying shit like "their rolling in their grave" because we'remaking changes to the contitution... well, we need to make changes every once ina while, to keep up with the times...

 

it depends on who's collecting it and where it goes. if it goes to making our streets, schools, and land safer, then it is a good thing. if responsible people are collecting it, it can be a good thing.

but...

if greedy politicians who are in the pockets of lobbyists and coporations, then it can be a bad thing. if it is used to pay people off or buy people stuff, it is a bad thing.

 

bad...it's unconstitutional, and I haven't even filed my income tax for a few years now. Yes I have worked the last few years, but even if the government figured out that I haven't filed, not much they would want to do about it....they owe me money.
