Don't know if anyone here knows (or cares) but Micheals has a huge sale this week on canvas. 50% off all canvas'. Good deal - you really can't stretch and frame them yourself for cheaper than that!

just doing my good deed for the day! Now I can go back to being my usual mean evil bitch! haha!

thanks for that info, too bad im a poor bum without a job.

lol the one time i went to mikes i got like 20ft of canvas for like 3 or 4$ cause the girl at the register charged me for only a couple feet.... I usd a large portion for a mural and stretched the rest on smaller frames... they're laying around my house somewhere waiting more me to get motivated and buy some oils

Michales seems to have a problem with ringing up the wrong prices. A few months back I got an easle there. It was a cheap one, $14 or so... but when I got it home and looked at it, it was super nice! I kept staring at it in disbelief... how could it have been so cheap? The next week I was at Michales getting some canvases, and I saw the exact same easle I had gotten on display... except it was $180! I lucked out with that deal! I love pricing mistakes like that one! Over 90% off, and it is a GREAT easle! It's compact, portable, and very adjustable!I like taking it out into the woods or to the beach to paint! ^^
