I graduated from Middlebury back in the 1980s. Green Mountain had a reputation for easy women, a very hippie sort of image. It was referred to as "Groin Mountain" and "Green Mattress." That might not have been accurate or all that fair, but that's all I ever heard about it. I've often wondered how my life would have turned out if I'd gone to Green Mountain. I might have been happier.

the thing that made me not go to green mtn was that you need a car or a friend that has one in order to go anywhere and it is quite expensive... but ive had some good times there visiting... my ex girlfriend goes there ..its wierd how that school sorta took the 'hippy' out of her... im headed farther up north to johnson st. to study wellness and alternative medicine... i was going to do e sci at GMC also..i cant wait to get to college as im sure you are ... gotta head to bed.. later!

johnson state is the cheaper version and more generic version of gmc. lotsa really chill kids go there whos parents arent exactly rich and whatnot. i mean i like gmc, but it definitely gots some trustafariens that didnt get into uvm. not to dis or anything like that, but where theres a school that costs alot of money, most kids dont get full boat scholarships so mommy and daddy pay for alot. just an opinion, keep in mind.

you guys are makin me nervous:( .....i really hope i like it. well atleast ill be happy if i find a chill group of kids to hang with...well worse comes to worse i transfer to sumplace different..but i dont think it makes you anymore or less chill if you parents have money or not..my parents could be considered more well off or even wealthy but that doesnt represent who i am as a person at all....im the opposite of them...peace

oh definitely, lotsa kids turn hippies to really rebel their parents. cuz they want to be dirty and sleep in bushes just cuz. i usually am dirty and sleep in bushes cuz i have to ;) its cool man, i dont mean anything against the trustafariens. i mean, they are great to have around cuz they are chill and have money to spend on hotels at some points along the trip.

heres a good joke tho: its for uvm... which you will here and see alot of them about...

how do you piss off a uvm student?
-hide daddy's credit card under a bar of soap!

for some reason that never gets old.

but yeah, you'll definitely have a good time at gmc. dont get nervous over our opinions, check it out and see for yourself! peace and love
