yeah, that explains why so many people didnt like the prequels because the story was really in the backround, how palpatine was usurping power, but the retards here at home didnt notice; all they thought was "boo hoo, anakins being a bitch, this movie blows" and thank god someone else is watching prison planet and isnt dense like some of these folks

The average person doesn't think and/or comprehend the story when they watch a movie. They are like little kids (but don't get traumatized so easily). When they watch a movie, if it all isn't put up in their face, they hate it. That is why war movies never go over well. I love to watch it for the tactics, but people just want fighting. So they just fill war movies with awesome fight scenes but never explain the stratagey behind it. Movie where they do have actually things happening (Like, Gettysburg) don't go over well at all.

If you look at Troy, its just a bunch of fight scences and story. You don't see them saying "ok, we will move troops here here and here blah" or talk about the organization of them or anything. There is as little as possible, and that is when they go hide in the ships.

yeah seriously, its dumbing people down and lowering attention spans
troy, ha that movie was such a joke, the fights were allright but now you know people are going to remember the tale of the trojan horse with fucking brad pitt in their heads, as well as the historical inaccuracies that plauged that eye-candy "movie"

  5. strategy is one of the most wonderful and sacred things to occur in human society, no one can convince me otherwise

on the other hand I didn't like the prequels because of the bad acting, I didn't like the original movies because of the bad acting, but the reason they are cool makes sense to me, I've seen logans run ( the film that won best sfx the year before star wars came out) the incredible contrast, well it's one of the few times I will mean the word awesome, from a few lame ass laser affects to STAR WARS it's an awesome contrast

    it's odd and confusing

that whole bush quote thing- it technically would be easier to govern the country if we had a dictatorship. you don't have to worry about people objecting and stopping laws from passing. you also don't have to worry about people's rights. he didn't say it was good, he only said it would be easier
