Hi all- Okay, I'll try to keep this brief as possible. I just finished my second salvia trip. Both times it felt as if I left my body behind and briefly became a being of Mind/Spirit. Both times I had the sensation of flying. Both times I've "sensed" though not actually "heard" music, eternal music not made up of notes and sounds but also made of Spirit. And both times I've "sensed" voices. They seem friendly, they ask me to go with them, and I felt as if all I had to do is let go of my strained connection to the "real" world, I could easily fly off with them. This second trip, their call to go with them seemed more urgent. In my "spirit world conversation", for lack of better terminology, with them, they seemed to be trying every which way to convince me to go. This time the trip pretty much ended when I asked "what about Cassie girl?" (my dog) and they said she couldn't go with. Then I had a brief actual conversation (very one-sided) with Cassie, and the effects were gone. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone's had a similar experience. And if so, have you figured out who "they" are and where they want you to go?
don't get too caught up in it... as with most psychedelics, there are often some similarities but also your predisposition and your own influence of your subconscious on the trip are just as unexplainable as the voices you hear and the overall experience itself. My question is more along the lines of what makes you hear the voices, rather than who the voices are. Most questions have to orginate internally before you can ask questions externally. However, to humor your question of who 'they' are... all u have to do is look through the past to various idols, spirits, etc. of various "religions" that used psychotropic substances. I'm thinking that as in the idea of God, any label you try to put on them is simply that... a label. To try to determine the true nature of these things is rather impossible. The voices will be whoever you decide that they are... and it's very likely that you will be wrong. There have been many deities throughout human history that are now mocked as being the result of overactive imaginations... basically, you create your own reality. I too have sometimes heard voices on salvia. I decided that they were trying to give me some kind of information... but later on i remembered that i had read many reports about that kind of thing, so i don't know if that affected my decision of what my experience was. I guess i'd just have to say have fun with it... that's the wonderful thing about the human mind, it's overwhelmingly complex! Hope i didn't ramble on too much here.... good luck with it.
earthfluff is right. But hey, just for the hell of it ... My first experience (level 3), I started feeling like my spirit was being sucked out of my body into a quicksandish spiritual black hole behind me (I guess it was the Salvia gravity), and, like you, I "felt" a voice. Sorta. I recieved an impression that someone was trying to call out to me from through the void, but I distinctly felt that they were TRYING to, and that I wasn't actually getting the communication (and I didn't know the nature of what was being "yelled"). Other than that, I haven't had any experiences with communication with other "beings" on Salvia.
