    animal omens are important.

the two main ones for me in the past few years have been snakes and mice. i've had mice sit on my toes out in the wild as if i were not an enormous predator--trusting me, how bizzare. snakes have come to me in trips and in the woods.... they tend to slither right BETWEEN my legs when i'm walking--scares the shit out of me.

anyway, you can do a search and find the spiritual significance of any animal. there is a lot of native american work on this stuff. try some searches for animal omens or symbols.

If you believe in animal symbalism and spirits, you may find good answers in a website about Shamanism. I don't know if this will help you, but it's a really interesting website:

    It's really quite fascinating.

What problem were you thinking of at the time?

While in dreams a cat is an enemy and the mice could be you, in the real world seeing a cat with a mouse in its mouth could mean that sustenance could be coming to you, you won't want for lack. Therefore all your problems could be going away and you'll snatch all opportunities coming your way (mice are fast like opportunities slipping away.)
