Anyone been corsetted?

The worst part is, that the rings can get snagged on things like hair or clothing. It's not the best feeling in the world to have the rings ripped out. But i have seen that with girls who wear big hoop earrings so...................

 

I am planning on getting on for my grad and wearing an open back dress

 

Promise you'll put a picture on here yeah? I wouldn't do it myself but i love people who embrace the different. I bet it'll look amazing. What colour ribbon are you thinking about?

 

I'll definatly put a picture of it on if I get it down for grad next year. I am planning on wearing a very earthy dress, lots of greens and browns so I think the ribbon will be dark green in colour.

 

I wont pierce anything but my ears.. I have a girl friend who has 40 of them.. and she has has at least ten ripped out at some point.. I don't think it's sexy or cool. Tattoos are ok.. not nearly as creepy and dark....and they don't make you beep in the airport.

I'll stick to tats.

 

Dark green will look great. Do you have pale skin or darker. Either way, the dress sounds perfect

 

i know corsets are a bit different then the early 1900s they would pretty much struggle to breathe in order to look beautiful. heres an old picture i found. looks like a barbie doll body.

 

Yeah, back then women were meant to constrict their waists as much as they could. It was their job to look the most desirable to men.

i have...the process is pretty painless...kinda bloody but painless...takes about a n hour to be completely done but in the long run it is very beautiful...i put in some fairy wings that were gorgeous....they are not a permanent piercing though because they get pulled alot and the rings get moved and start migrating after a couple weeks, so tell them to enjoy it whle they can and to take many pix

 

I have light skin.. it would probably look better with dark skin but meh

 

Put pictures on here yeah? I like the way you say "kinda" bloody I wouldn't get it done. I only got my ears pierced 2 years ago for god's sake I think it's beautiful though.

no not really...look at the health problems womyn had years ago from wearing real corsets...not exactly better...

 

yes, but that was from wearing very tight corsets every day. I'm assuming the poster above you was talking about one more for casual wear (which i have two of) than every day, waist-shrinking, rib-crushing, not-enough-air-so-you-faint-every-five-minutes ones

Not only is that NOT appealing to me, but I wouldn't want some fucking ribbon tugging at my piercings and getting caught on things 24/7 either...

Imagine sleeping on that shit.

 

looks painful but also kinda cool. definately not my style, but im sure it looks great on certain people. and i would be kinda afraid of them getting caught and ripping out..........ouch
