If they're anything like my parents they will hold on to you as tight as they can. I had to move to the other side of the world when I was 17 but then I came back and settled in France for a bit. Freedom, it's great, you're right. Have you moved out of your parents house, is that what prompted this?
No, basically I've decided to stop being such a pussy-worrywart-good girl. I'm going to have fun and stop wasting my life rotting in my room because my mother doesn't appove of...well anything. I love and respect my mom but I gotta have a life..damn!
Um, don't go all out though, ay. I mean, be yourself. Don't do stuff just because your mum doesn't approve of it or because you feel inexperienced - still plenty of time left ay? I don't mean to be a preacher, I'm a drug fiend and general fuck-up myself but I try to be good according to what my opinion of good is. You do have to have fun. You do have to have a life, and it has to be your own, not your mum's. However, the two can overlap and you can even share the same opinions on some things. Me and my mum, for example, are both lefties but my mum things I'm an idealist extremist and I think she's a woolly liberal.
nice! I have a tee shirt from the 80's that says "I dont wanna grow up, but if I did I want to be a toys r us kid" its a bit to small to wear...but I still have it from when I was a kid
