There is no one right answer to your questions.

The right answer for you depends on whether and where you find a job and your situation with money and with your family.

It's not a matter of "running away" to a place. The real question is what you want to do. It's not uncommon for people to choose a specific city because it offers lots of jobs in a certain field. Other people decide to live in a larger city near the place where they grew up.

If you want to stay in Lancashire after uni, you can do that. If you want to go somewhere else, you can do that too. You need to think about what you want to do with your life in order to make that decision...and you've got plenty of time.

Not everybody goes to uni, and that's OK too. There are some people with incredible natural talent who can get along well without it, but that's not most of us.

The best advice I could give a 14-year-old is to continue going to school (it's probably the law that you have to anyway) and learning as much as you can. Keep your grades up; doing that gives you more choices later.

Learn as much as you can about the world around you. Travel as much as possible, always thinking about where you might want to live later. Meet as many people as possible, thinking about who you want to spend your life around and what you want to do for work. Experience as many safe and legal things as possible, and take good care of yourself. Doing these things will help you make the decision that is right for you.

Thankyou Sagedreamer, for replying and giving me advice. I am going to try to travel but it will not be easy. I'm off to lake district soon and i do not think i wanna come back!

I won't do anything illegal (except one certain thing i cannot say). I'm defianatly not leaving school now. If i was allowed i'd spend my days rotting away in my room or watching racing channel or heart beat.

i've got a few places i planning on staying after educational stuff. I'm just scared of being on my own like my uncle who never goes out and only has a cat for company.

Anyway i think i'm worrying over nothing since that what i do. i'm going to read chicken soup for the soul. Also i'm sorry for babbling on. this is what i do!
