Me and my bf have been using condoms every time, but it gets sore for me and we're not able to buy lube (small town). What other forms of contraceptives are there? I've heard of diapraghms, but are they easy to get, or are they for married people from a doctor or something? That was the way it was in the '80s in Ireland.... Any feedback would be much appreciated *thumbs up*
the pill, the patch, the shot, IUD, diaphram, sponge, female condom, spermicide..... there are a lot of options. I'd suggest talking to your physician and finding out what's right for you.
Well I think there might be a sex shop at a part of town where you really dont want to go to.... There is one there but We're a young couple, the people living there are dodgy... It'd just be good to know what other contraceptives there are anyways.. Thank you! Can't go on the pill for a few months... Then I'll be to a doctor. But diaphragms are available from a chemist at all? IUD?
Having sex means you should be able to make mature decisions-this is your health we're talking about!! Who cares what other people think if you walk into a store to get BC methods? Anyway, if you want a diaphragm, you need to be fitted for one by a gynecologist. IUDs are "T" shaped devices that are inserted into the uterus, but you too will need to see a gyno for that. Basically, if you can't get to a doctor right away, your best bet is using a condom doubled with spermicidal lube.
ya, as long as you both get tested, and are clean, and loyal..you can always try to not use anything. the big key is not to let him sow his seeds inside of you. easy as pie...this is the method me and mine has used for the last 5 years...
There are a number of brands of pre-lubricated condoms on the market. You might do a Google search to find out which brands of condoms are pre-lubricated and see if they're available where you live. If not, can you special-order them? -- Skeeter
