So enough of us whining, now let's do something. I'm just waiting for my SFC members to come together on the SFC board and discuss some events we can all do. Join up if you want to have a say. Let's make a start!
Exactly... but it seems that's not likely... didn't hear a peep out of anyone after I did the mass email yesterday. (Did get one new member though.) I don't know what else to do? I'm grateful for the membership but the question begs to be asked: why are people joining the SFC if we don't hear from most of them ever again? Well it can just be the few regulars that can do the planning. We don't need many to plan an event. Plus anyone here who wants to get involved in the planning process can join the SFC. Then we can post our event up on these boards when we've finalised it. I agree Peaceful Chaos, I was thinking a mass flyer handout day, or maybe something even simpler than that, like handing out a simple peace sticker to begin with, to get our name, brand and message out there. It has to be small or else it will overwhelm them. Remember, society today is going to be a tough nut to crack... everyone is so wrapped up in consumerism and the latest gadgets and clothes. It has to be a gradual "paradigm shift". Everyone on these boards who is interested has to sign up to ensure they meet up with others in their area, and so we have an idea of which areas need more people. I feel that if they have a friend or kindred spirit along handing them out, then they will be more interested. Sure there will be people who will use the peace sticker as a fashion accessory, or throw it away, but even if a couple of those people convert to our way of thinking, then that's a victory. They can join us in the next event, we will get more people, and hopefully it will snowball.

I'd start off with 100 stickers... But, I don't have $167 yet. That's a tad bit expencive. Maybe I can inquire about bulk order discounts.
oh yeah i would think the would give you a discount if you bought that many and often. Plus its for a good cause. I think i might just try it. Dont have much money but i will soon.
