well ive been watching lots of "signs" and "the village" recently, and it made me wanna go rent unbreakable again [i dont care for the 6th sense], so im gonna say right now, then M Night/James Newton Howard colaborations are my favorites...specially the Signs theme...
The James Bond theme has something special I think. I also like the soundtracks of movies like Snatch, Natural born killers, Kill Bill 1 & 2 and Pulp fiction.
My favorite soundtrack is the one for Rushmore, which also happens to be my favorite film. The one for The Royal Tenenbaums is excellent too; it got me into Elliott Smith (even if a lot more people would say that about the Good Will Hunting soundtrack).
*Requiem for a dream (by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet, it's genious, just like the movie) *Trainspotting *Amelie Poulain and Goodbye Lenin (both by Yann Tiersen) *In the name of the father *Magnolia (wonderful Aimee Mann songs) *Signs *Girl, interrupted (Downtown...) *Forrest Gump *Vanilla Sky
Cheesy, I know.. but I do really like the Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown soundtracks -- I'm a sucker for 'em ALSO! I don't know if anybody has ever seen a flick called Scrapple, but the soundtrack is awesome.. totally done by Taj Mahel (sp?) and totally rad. Otherwise, I got to agree with Migu -- House of 1000 corpses rocks my socks. Peace, Ganja_Goo
Rushmore is my favorite... but also Forest Gump, Amelie, and lots of others I can't think of right now
Apocalypse Now The Graduate Baraka Most James Bond movies (orchestra, etc) Too many others to mention.
High Fidelity Empire Records Almost Famous Dazed & Confused Pulp Fiction Donnie Darko Garden State Trainspotting
The Forrest Gump soundtrack is really good, except for when "What the World Needs Now is Love" comes on...I hate that song,I skip it everytime lol. Oh Brother,Where Art Thou was an awesome soundtrack, but mainly because it brought a genre of music I love into the spotlight.
