haha I am rather burnt out on sewing. I cannot get motivated... I think I am going to melt up some wax today and do some batiking! I have a ton of white tshirts and I just got some soda ash yesterday. Woot!
I have been sewing since I was 15 and I still love it. I guess I am not burnt out right now cuz I broke my machines and havent been able to get much done!! I started a pair of pants with a flower vine applique all the way down the leg that I am dying to finish!! I get so excited to get on the forums and see all the new stuff everyone has made =) it just feeds my inspiration!
I havent had time to sew anything lately... Not the ambbision without FunkyPhresh putting stuff up every day to give me inspiration
Well, yes I'd love to be sewing, but I've been on vacation and came home to a broken washer. So right now it's crochet and beading.
this forum is really lucky to have some really talented and skilled sewers and crafters. i get inspired all the time by just clicking around and seeing peoples creations. everyone has their own style and touch. i love it because every piece is so unique and beautiful. i love seeing the crazy works of Cre and supermommy and funky's newest bright works. i also love to see people who do it as a hobby like lucy's creations that she comes up with and other people who get inspired and decide to make a post. people are soooooo respectful and supportive of the work dispayed here. this has got to be my favorite forum!
My washer broke too! Ugh,such a pain...but luckily,I've got my good ol' never fail wringer washer....okay,so it does fail sometimes,and it's held together by a clothes hanger and alot of duct tape...but it's better than nothing
I havent posted any of my things that i sew yet, but i have also been sewing since i was about 14 or 15 and i love it. Even my job at work is sewing, though i dont sew fabric at work, i sew plastic, its still sewing. Sewing is wonderful. I just love to have clothing that no one else has and i can say that i made it. I love it!
