alright, i am going to sound totally clueless, but i have heard that your not as likely to get pregnant when your on the rag, but i have also heard that you are more likely to get pregnant. i am just wondering which one is correct, or if it even makes a difference. please help me out here! i want to know if i should refrain from having sex during my period.
Go on birth control. there is no SURE way of knowing if you are safe or not.. if you are on the pill, then you are 99.9% safe having sex with or without your rag. you are less likely to get pregnant on your period, but it is still possible.. be smart, go on the pill, or the depo shot.. cheers.
thank you! yes, i have been meaning to go back on the pill. i was going to go yesterday, but i have to wait until i get my check cashed, it will definetly be as soon as possible. i have just been wondering about this!
If you have a regular 28 day cycle and start like clockwork every month, you are most likely to get pregnant 14 days after you start your period and least likely to get pregnant during the period. However, even if you are normally like clockwork, all kinds of environmental things can throw your cycle off -- stress, change in eating habits, change in how often you have sex, etc. So, if you can not afford to risk having an accident, you should always use some form of birth control -- condoms until you go on the pill -- at all times of the month.
i always heard from my health teacher, that it didn't matter if you were on your period, your egg could still get fertilized, so yea i think the pill would be your best choice......
the key words are ....not as likely and more likely. the point is you can stiill get pregnant. there's always a chance. do you know that you can get pregnant while on birthcontrol pills and using a codom? there's a very very small chance of that happening, but it does. my husband friend used all the precaution and still get pregnant. the point is, do you want to get pregnant? and to what extent would you go to if you dont' want to get pregnant.
