anyone want to organize?

a good start for this would be for the people wanting to be involved with this to post some ideas for it in this thread first off then we can take it from there.

 

yeah.. people, post something that you think is worth publishing. I think ya'll got some stuff you've produced over the years that could be legit for the world to read. I think you're all just being a bit shy and unwilling to be the first to present. I'll put in 5 pieces I've written next week, after I edit them up to my current level.

 

I am the suck at writing. But I will help in any other way I can.

It should be a website and a paper/brochure. We could put the website adress on the paper. Think of the new york times and newyorktimes.com. We could also make shirts and stuff with the logos on them. Maybe Micha would help with that. But we need a logo first, and a name.

And if the paper gets going send it to me and Ill be glad to print some out and distribute in the Sarasota area.

how about "Reality Undercover"? I think that expresses its countercultural significance plus the fact that the reality of it all.. is under the cover.

We have a paper near me called the Buffalo Beast. You should check it out, maybe we could use it as a model or something.

I am not currently at home, so I don't have the past articles I've written around, but I would be glad to send those in when that changes. Though it might be awhile. And we should be very careful, if we do this, to be legit. I mean like noting sources, making sure our facts are accurate, and basically keeping to a higher standard of journalism than the big media sources do. 'Cause if people think we're lying, misleading, or even skewing, they aren't going to care about it enough to read it.

My biggest problem with the beast is that some of their humor makes it hard to tell what is fact and what is fiction.
