Stoner Stereotypes

I hate the dumb as a rock sterotype. I jsut cant stand it, it fits absolutely nobody I know that smokes.

 

i do have long hair and occasionally dress like a hippy, but for the most part, i don't fit many of those stereotypes. i do constantly forget things, but generally people only associate me with drugs because of my friends.

 

I have a job, and I'm really interested in writting, poetry, photography, lyrics, art, music, etc.. and I smoke a good amount daily, and I goto a lot of festivals, raves, and shows so I fit into some stereotypes but I'm kinda so out there people don't call me a stoner! ;^) they just say I'm weird. But when you're on tour for a month.. with all those party favors.. you gotta be weird! And its fun.. can anyone say FESSSSTIVAAAAL!

 

Well, I have long hair.. and I am pretty damn mellow. But I wouldn't call myself lazy by any means. I work 5-6 days a week and spend most of my free time canoing or hiking around or doing other ninja'esk things. You know the type. I do love the Grateful Dead, but my musical taste also branches out to everything from Aesop Rock and the NWA to Monster Magnet and Gwar.

I don't like Phish and I really don't like Dave Matthews Band -- sorry, no offense, he's just not my thing.

wow, i just ranted. what was i supposed to be talking about? oh yeah, stoner sterotypes...

lets see, i'd fit into the "stoner" look, i guess... i wear lots of hemp, (i have 5 necklaces on, and 2 anklets), i love tye dye and flowy skirts... i DO get forgetful sometimes, i dont know, ive always had shitty memory though. sometimes i get lazy, but doesnt everyone sometimes?

I hate it when people who don't smoke first meet me and they always try to dumb shit down for me.

 

15 dollars, Holy shit, the least i paid was like 5 and the most i paid was 10. Fuck, thats just crazy, I shopped around for a while and then just fuckin fried my brain on alot of good acid that week. I was there damn near a week. Thats just crazy i woulndt of even ackknowledged the dude tryin to get rid of a 15 dollar hit of acid.

 

I love listening to music by Air, Led Zeppelin, The Music etc (you know the bands I'm talking about!), I'm lazy and love to sleep in. However I have a full time job, my hair is short and I have no beard or moustache. Hmmmm this is actually a pretty full on question.

 

I was gettin dosed for free at bonnaroo! ) Saturday night was intense!! Panic scared the shit outta me 2nd set!! But Denson, Trey, and De La Soul all brought me to a good place.

 

Ah.. me neither. Most of the people I know who smoke are actually alot smarter and more open minded about stuff ye know?

Im pretty lazy when no-one's watching..

 

I'm pretty lazy most of the time except when something interests me.

I know a lot of smart stoners but is also know a lot of dumb stoners so i think thats not something you can assosiate with weed. Stoners are generally more openminded though.

I mostly listen to Lounge and New Age music but i don't mind listening to Classical, HipHop or anything (Depends on my mood though).

Anyway, people respect me for who I am and don't judge me cause i smoke weed or anything, but maybe thats because i live in The Netherlands or something I dunno.
