    besides, SoaD and Korn aren't new bands.. i dont think Seether is either.

    lmao... there's so many. People who say there's no good music out there these days are too damn lazy to find out for themselves. I believe part of listening to music is what it takes to get the music... Then again, another part is turning people onto other bands.

    thats my favourite NEW new stuff... although sufjan has been around since before '98, and iron and wine's been around since 2001, i dunno bout the shins...

    anyway the whole question is really dumb and hard to answer... music should be timeless..


    and seether wants to be nirvana so bad they could puke.

    and avenged sevenfold made me hate thrasher.
    i read an article in thrasher once saying how awesome avenged sevenfold were, how they "blurred the line between punk and metal" so i went to go see them live, without ever hearing them. which i guess was stupid of me, but anyways the point is they suck bone.

    SAOD have been around for a really long time..

    and i cant say anything bad about korn because once and a while i can still rock out to their first album...

    anyway i havent slept for 27 hours, and i'm hardly making sense...
