Amelie - yann Tiersen Edward Scissorhands - Danny Elfman Team America - mainly performed by Trey Parker
the cliff martinez score for solaris, absolutely beautiful, so deep like a few others have mentioned; michael andrews for donni darko clint mansell and the kronos quarte for requiem for a dream also really like abigail meads tracks for full metal jacket, check out the track leonard - its just builds slowly, so dark and atmospheric - it adds so much to scene in the film buffalo soliders, i think it was david holmes who picked the tunes. especially like the bit where there mashed in the tank with the 2 hip hop tunes playing, dr octagon - bear witness and handsome boy modeling school - holy calamity (bear witness ii) those tracks fit so well with that bit of the film i could go on for ages!
Hey I'm glad to see this thread took off while I was gone! Off the top of my head, my favorite movie soundtrack right now is for The Coneheads.
