i would have to agree... i like the deads, then hendrix, then this version i heard alro guthrie play with a ukalayie (idk how to spell it... the hawaiian guitar thing)
ukelele I think. I've never heard the Grateful Dead's version....but I'm still sticking with Neil Young's at Bobfest.
i must go with the original dylan version .but i am a huge dylan fan ...and a hendrix fan ...it really depends on how many ginger cakes youve had .if you see what i mean
you forgot the ritchie havens version; ritchie learned it from dylan, and jimi learned it from ritchie
Hendrix because i have never heard Dylan's version. i tried once, but experienced something traumatic along the way. i lost my innocence trying to look for it. hendrix is great on guitar. the feedback and noise is an artform that he perfected. it is all just raw, emotional energy. he loved that guitar, and it loved him back.
hendrix obviously has more skill on guitar but it's nice to hear dylan play it every once in a while.. although i think the harmonica on that is dissapointing.
