Do as ranger suggests and lose some to stress while it struggles to surface.30+ years of growing and ya offer that advice.Tap roots grow down, why make it hard on the seedling to reach surface which is where root production will excell via cotyledons beginning the photosynthesis process once shell is thrown.Go back to growkind where people believe your bullshit.
I have been growing pot for decades and I've always planted my seeds 1" deep. Never had a problem woith them being unable to make it through that extra 3/4". Whining is soooo immature. Take it to overgrow.
What happened ,did they run ya outta growkind so ya try and pawn off your decades of non- pragmatic experience which I guess would be bullshit you have read somewhere and believe it,cause it sure dont come from experience.Where does whinning and immature come in,when some one contradictes your bullshit answer, seems immature of you tyo bring name calling into it.I have read your bullshit responses over the years at www.growkind for laughs as you seem to get more people contradicting your advice thern ya do agreeing with it.Its simple, you dont know half of what ya preach ya fukin poser.
I am loathe to waste bandwidth on someone who follows me around from site to site like a heartbroken schoolgirl with her first crush. Go bark at someone else, puppy.
Grow up ranger, you should be able to take it like a man instead of coming up with your little puppy dog parables.Act your age not your IQ.Save your breath as I am done with what I have to say.
Deadhead i have found so many differing opinions your best bet is read em all then go for somewhere in the middle

Besides any growbook will tell you to plant your seed 1/4 to 1/2 inch at the most. Anyone knows that if you plant them too deep they lose energy trying to get through the dirt. extremely loose soil you can plant them at 1/2 inch but more will sap the ensrgy they need to sprout. I go 1/4 inch in a hole i make with a 16 penny nail myself. And push it down by the hypocotyl area and bury it point first.
i always germinate using the tissue/plate method and place the split beans tip down about 5mm deep in seedlingsoil/perlitemix 16/16 last time germanated within 48hrs popped top of mix within72hrs find a way that suits you and go with it
