Hey there, i haven't seen anything about T.Rex or Marc Bolan in the short time I have been a member, so are there any fans out there? If you don't know who I am talking about, T.Rex was a folk-rock band from Britain in the sixties and seventies. Marc Bolan was the lead singer... Anyway I love them and I would like to hear from other fans, or if you have no idea about them, I'd be happy to fill you in!
im a big marc bolan fan. ive got the boxed set, which even includes stuff he did with 60s Mod band johns Children. His strangled granny goat voice and all that wizard, elf hippy stuff is awesome. ive also got a book of sheet music from those days with music from the album "prophets seers and sages..." in it.
so how did you get into Trex? I found all these old records in this dusty little shop and bought them and fell in love with them... My parents hate them, and pretty much everything else i listen to

I like some of the early stuff when they were Tyrannosaurus Rex, and a couple of their later songs. I'd probably like them slightly more but I don't like the singers voice!
Yeah, I love: "My People Were Fair [...]" probably the longest album title ever! I don't know T. Rex's glam stuff as much though, aside from 20th Century Boy (or Toy... dunno!)
I love T. Rex, they were pretty much the soundtrack to my childhood along with Bowie's glam period. Love the Tyrannosaurus Rex albums too, Prophets Seers and Sages, and Unicorn in particular
I love glam. Nowhere near as much as my friend Haley. I think it's so fun. And Bolan looked damn sexy in platform boots and glitter.
