I know it's definitely not infected, all tats are supposed to be itchy as hell. But it's just driving me crazy. My artist said to put lotion on and slap it, but i'm going to have to walk around all day slapping my back like a fool. lol i was hoping maybe someone knew of something i could put on it, but oh well. i'll suffer i guess.

aw man i hate the itching! maybe some try some anti-itch cream.
and how bout spray some bactine on there, that helps kinda stop itching.

yeah. on my first tattoo, i itched it so much around it (because i didnt wanna itch DIRECTLY on the tattoo) that i have fucking scars from my itching it! haha

haha, I remember wanting to just rub my back up against the wall, it itched so bad. That tattoo goo stuff helps with the itching some, I would just slather that junk on.

    it drove me NUTZO!!
i itched around it just to feel a bit better... it was very annoying.

I rubbed it a lot... with lots of hte recommended lotion/gunk of course, but rubbing seemed to help, it also got rid of some of the skin when it was peeling (my most itchy time) which was odd.

i've heard aloe vera heals the tattoo too quickly and makes the tattoo lose colour. I was just using unsented lubriderm. It's not itchy anymore, it's healed up really nicely.
