Why is pregnancy a womans issue? Since when is a woman supposed to be alone in raising a baby? I really think the man that got her pregnant should be 100% involved. I mean it used to be worse, men used to have to wait in the waiting room while their wives delivered. Many men, especially teenagers, are DSFSE RUNNING AWAY WHEN TEHY GET A GIRL PREGNANT!

I can't be held responsible for all the idiots running lose around our planet. 9 out of 10 times when a girl has sex with a guy (this applies to teenagers) he leaves her, and she usually does it because shes afraid he will leave her if she doesn't.

I don't like fuwere societys ignorance either. Men used to have to stay in the waiting room. I know they'd rather not stomach it but its better that they are there in the room with their girlfriends/wives, even if they are turning a shade of green.

People are too obsesed with sex and too sfds sex promoting to think about what happens when the girl gets pregnant. Most guys are completely dubios to this.

My question to guys :WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU GET EDJUCATED AND SUPPORT YOUR WIFE DURING HER PREGNANCY! (and please, plan it)...

My question to gals :WHY DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT THIS IS ONLY YOUR PROBLEM>>........ So guys are completely left out, and the girls only talk to other women about it, because they would be the ones with the knowlege about pregnancy wouldn't they? No guy is going to know a thing about pregnancy.

So its mostly guys who wont suck it up and accept the responsiblity, BECAUSE THEIR IDIOTS!!

Why the hserew do I have to live in a world of idiots? I sware, I was coming up on an intersection and this guy did a you turn FAST in the middle of the intersection, and I almost completely smashed into his side, if I hadn't slammed on the break, lucky I was paying attention. People are crazy drivers, and some idiot is going to do something stupid and kill me accidently while doing it.

Whats really bugging me, more than anything, is that if I posted this in womens issues I would get 100x more replies. I have to wait a few hours for somebody to respond to this I bet!

why is it my issue? Because it's MY body. Knowing me, at this point in my life, I wouldnt' be keeping the fetus so it's my choice. I'm not carrying a child around for 9months just because my boyfriend wanted me to.

I do think that men should be more involved when the couple decides to keep the child. There are a lot of families out there where the mother struggles to do everything. I know my mom did, but she was a single mom for quite a while with me, and refused to deal with her family (they said she'd be a terrible mother and demanded she put me up for adoption)

We've replaced personal responsibility with state responsibility.

The welfare system will pick up the cost of Enfelac if you choose to bolt. So why not?

I mean the above rhetorically. Both our pregnancies were planned and our kids get MUCH love attention and money.

you asked why women thought it was our problem, not both people's problems... because it's my body, like I said. If you want answers within stipulations, you should state them to begin with. one-eyed, peglegged people with curly red hair only to respond to this post ;)

This can never be "resolved" in a fair manner.

Getting BACK to this being the "Men's Issues" forum, IF the Pregnant woman is Married, THAT makes it her Husbands problem too. Doesn't it? How About the Boyfriend that CARES about her, and wants to stick around?

Well, if we want to examine all the men's issues around pregnancy, here are a few.

Enforced paternity - she can choose to end the pregnancy or continue it. There's nothing to compel someone from being a mother, or compel someone not to be one if the man doesn't wish to be a father.

Paternity fraud - Been with a few men? Pick the richest guy and have him sign the birth certificate as "father". Even if DNA later proves him NOT to be he's still on the hook to pay for the child. Fraud being a part of it is no defence.

    However

For each of these you have to outweigh just how you can make it fair to all, and unfortunately for every leeway you could grant a man you seriously grant some heavy arsenals to the men in the battle of the sexes.

Yeah, so you could technically go to debtor's prison for paternity (you cannot go to jail for debts in any other circumstances). You can be roped into pregnancy or roped out of paternity. Don't like it? Choose carefully who you sleep with, and use protection yourself and always understand the risks you take and be prepared to deal with the potentialities.

Ever hear of men who get morning sickness? I know this happens and have seen it. There is no reason physiologically for it but it happens. Perhaps it's just a very strong bond?

Ever hear of men who get morning sickness? It happens. Thing is there is no physiological reason for that to be happenning but it does. Well maybe not in medical texts of a traditional nature but perhaps some of those paintings by Alex Grey could explain it.
