ALL women. All over the WORLD have this ONE thing in common. Be you Jewish, Catholic, Baptist, Muslim, or even Jehovahs Witness or best of all, Hippy.

NOBODY! But, NOBODY like the word "****" to be applied to a female of the human species. Even ME. BUT! There ARE time the term MUST be applied to a female. Like the Single Mother who leaves her 7 year old daughter in charge of her younger brothers & sisters while 'SHE' goes out to get high with a guy.
Ya Farging ****! Is what she would be called.

There are some women who are trying to take the sting out of the word and are proudly calling themselves "cunts."

I lived with my bestfriend for 5 years, and her various girlfriends as they came and went. To us, "****" was a compliment... "dick" was the insult. haha! ;)

Well, I don't think the word, or calling someone a Dick should ever "need" to be applied. The anecdote you give makes someone a HORRIBLE MOTHER, but using nasty words for body parts has nothing to do with her parenting abilities, IMO.

oui. I don't call other people cunts because they would probably be offended by it, but I can call myself a **** without being offended.

I suppose so. But that goes along the same lines as black people who refer to theirselves as "niggers", or gays who call theirselves "queer"- It may be used by a lot of people and not offencive to them, but it still is offencive most people.

i think you should just reffer to yourself in a more possitive way..like goddess
sure it might not me offensive to reffer to yourself in that way, but it coulf give others the impression you dont reespect yourself

I think I should refer to myself however I want.... :D

the root of the word **** basically means priestess who invented writing, which I've heard from quite a few sources. I take it in a positive fashion personally, why on earth would I call myself something I find negative? And it's not as though I go around introducing myself to people as a ****.

Humerous story: At a Festival, in between bands, the MC intereacted (on the mic) with a woman wearing a "**** positive" t-shirt, using the word printed on her shirt. Unknown to them, the local LP radio station was broadcasting the Festival live. And streaming it on the internet. The station got complaints from as far away as Nebraska.

I really used to hate that word, but then i met this guy who called himself "Cunty" and his friend was called "Cuntoss" and so I'm ok with it now. I actually get a lot of satisfaction from saying it when I'm really angry or pissed off with someone. No other word has that much power!!

My profanity vocabulary is limited to fuck(ing[hell])/bitch/damn/mit, on the rare occasion that I hurt myself really bad.

words are subject to the emotions that support them really.

if you call someone something like that in jest...then it's not all that bad.

if you call someone a **** with a sense of malice behind it then i don't think it's really the word that should bothering you.

using genetalia to label someone negatively may be quite a silly way of going about things to be honest but i wouldn't find it all too offensive. it is only a body part afterall and i have called my fair share of guys pricks/dickheads.
