by Stephen King. just finished it, today. awesome, awesome book. i love it.

most people think that King only writes horror novels, but he also has an amazing ability to write really deep novels as well. i was touched by this book, in a way i've never been touched by a book before. if you've read it, you might understand why.

has anyone else read it?? if not, i suggest you check it out.

I've read it, but a long time ago so I can't really say what my thoughts are on it. I guess I didn't like it that much, if I can't recall it now.

I used to love King. He was my favorite author. My favorite book of his is 'The Stand'.

I love King's older stuff. Since his terrible accident that nearly took his life, his books have been rather...well, tame. I miss it.

I read this book about 2 years ago, I enjoyed it was I got about 100 pages into it. Parts of it were boring but the last couple chapters were very shocking(atleast for me).

It was one of my favorite books by King. Read it a few times, but that was when it first came out. I don't remember it much, but I remember liking that it showed a little more diversity in his books.

I still don't like it quite as much as his Dark Tower series. Love that. :D

Dragonlady, I agree with you, his later stuff is a snore. Just doesn't have the edge to it like his earlier stuff. I did like Bag of Bones though. It was such a well told story and the twists at the end were heartbreaking, but great. Sunnie, The Stand is my favorite too!
