An excellent series. I named my daughter after the woman, Ayla. Some of you may remember the choppy movie by the same name starring Darryl Hannah. Unless you had read the book, it was very hard to follow. But the series is wonderful!
Famous for his creation of "Tarzan", This writer also delved into a series of books that took John Carter to Mars and back. I believe there's 12 books in the series and each more difficult to put down! He was a writer ahead of his time and his stories suck you right in!
