i know its already in the other forums...but we really need alot of people to come. We do not yet have a place, but we need people to search for a good open area that could accomodate at least a few thousand people. We also need money to buy sound equipment, food etc.
Where are you located? Last weekend we hosted the 4th Annual CommUnity Peace festival. There are many kind venues around the country, but would need to know were you want to have yours. As far as the sound equipment, we know a very kind brother who brings his out, and does the sound the whole weekend for trade. so let me know i f we can help. Peace is important. Lovin you in the most positive way, ~mamawanda http://peaceconspiracy.org
this may change, but for now we have a place in Bluffton, Ohio. Large space, stage that is up all year round
if any of you know any bands that would volunteer, or come for REAL cheap, please contact me or lunarforest
Well, my band is located in Montreal, Canada, so travelling to Ohio might cost us quite a bit. If all could be arranged reasonably well, we (Fluid Rouge) will definitely play for this fantastic cause!
yeah, we do need bands! Like nathan said, contact either one of us about it! Also, everyone is welcome at: http://peacefest2005.proboards27.com/
Sounds awesome... I will check with my friend Rob and see if his people would be interested in performing. What dates are you all looking at, so I can let him know? BTW, if I can help ya'll in any way, please don't hesitate to ask me!
We can use as much help as we can get! As for dates, we haven't set any of as yet. We are waiting on availiblity of location first. We should know somewhat shortly, though. In case we have not made this clear, I want to make sure that everyone knows! This will be completely volunteer! No one will be getting paid for helping with Peace Fest 2005! Not me, not the bands and speakers, nobody! Now, for booths this is different. You can sell things at your booth (which you will pay for.) This is about the peace, and the love, and the music - not about the money! We are hoping we will at least break even, if we get more, the money will probably go to help fund next year, or else a charity - nobody's pocket! our hope is to be able to have addmission free! But more likely it will be cheap, or donations. Thanks for everyone's help!
