    Greetings,

I just started reading about meditation, I have never tried it, but I am going to start making it a part of my daily routine. One thing that I read about is the tingling/buzzing feeling that arises from deep breathing at the start of a meditation session. For as long as I can remember, I have been aware of this feeling. I do not have to be in a meditative mode at all to experience it. I have never meditated before, yet at any moment of the day, in any surrounding, loud or quiet, I can sense this feeling immediatly upon thinking about it, throughout most of my body, and I can localize the feeling as well. I am going to try meditation out for the first time tonight, how should I go about it? If I can sense the tingling feeling all throughout the day, would it be something to focus on while meditating? Any basic advice or help would be much appreciated, thanks.

One more thing, There have been times, mostly while walking, sometimes driving, that I was just thinking about the beauty of life, where I was totally consumed in happiness and joy, almost to the point where it was unbearable. During these instances might I have been meditating and not even realizing it? Thanks.

Just don't worry about it - if there's a particular reason why you think you should focus on it, by all means do so.

As far as I'm aware this sensation is at the end of the day, simply a by-product of the medititave experience so it's neither something that's good or bad, it's just something that is.

    Blessings
