Fuck amsterdam, go to dublin

Ok heres the dealio: me an my 2 mates alan and addy had been planning to go to dublin to see an oasis concert and were hoping to get sum weed

well we managed to sneek a shady eighth of crappy resin into ireland so we were garanteed a dooby at the concert.

well anyway we got to the hotel and skinned up, went round the corner to find sumwere to smoke it wen we went through a crowd of people and this black guy asked me if i wanted some grass. i suddenly stopped and turned to look at him with a huge smile on my face...well anyway we bought over a que of fairly good stuff (mids?) for £20, which was great cause it would be about £50 were i live...

it sucks in ireland cuase they got that public smokin ban which means we wernt allowed to smoke in our hotel room....but that didnt stop us! we had a great friday night just smokin in our hotel and raiding the vending machine on the other floor lol (i spent so much on that vending machine!)

i woke up to find addy sparking up a dooby at like 8:30am, which i didnt turn down. we spent the morning getting baked an went shopping ( bad idea to go to hmv, lol i loved everythin i listned to...)

we got the bus at like 3 to the concert and brought about 5 doobies with us. as soon as we got off the bus we sparked up and walked towards the concert. we were soon stopped by a security guard who said u cant walk in with that. we were like should we just chuck it? an he was like nah just stay here an smoke it...lol this guy was cool an we let him have sum off our doobie. he also told us to keep our weed in our shoe cause there was a search place up ahead.

we got them in an met this guy called dave who was skinnin up, so we had a few doobs with him. anyway we got to see the coral live aswell which were pretty good, but wen oasis came on it was sooo good. we had managed to get sum pit bands (they let u into the very front pit right next to the stage).

on the way back this guy on the bus was askin his mates for skins but they didnt have any so we gave him sum of ours. he openly skinned up and smoked the dooby on a crowded bus! he let us have sum as well which was great.

we had a few doobies wen we got back aswell.. lol the next day we had to clean up, lol we found a fair few hot rocks and ash stains and the place stunk of weed.

all in all it was such a great weekend, me an my mates so have to do it again

 

sounds like a pretty killer time... ive heard about the hash in Ireland... disgusting. They will coat it in boot polish to make it look bigger, and add shit like plastic... gross huh? When I heard about that I was like... Thats an embarrasment to weed everywhere...

 

i wanna go to ireland now, next time u go can i come along. i will be good and promise to bring my own good weed and i will skin up ever 15 minutes. and chance for the vending machine,

and i dont think they put plastic in weed or u would notice it when u crumbled it, but i dunno

Not many people sell weed around here,it sucks pretty bad.

amsterdam is one of the greatest--if not THE greatest--cities i've ever been too. in amsterdam, you don't have to buy sketch weed from sketch black guys on the sketch street. you can buy the best weed in the world for a few dollars in a friendly shop that has bongs and vaporizers for you to park your ass right there and get stoned.

dude go to amsterdam next time!!! They have over 300 coffee shop with menus *meaning weed menus* , smart shops to get psychedelics, bring back some bubblegum haze, white widow......... I got some psychedelics in pill form Oh god those were sooo great.

As an irishman who's lived in Dublin for 21 year's i've smoked my fairshare of irish hash...and this nonsense about it being covered in bootpolish is exactly that..nonsense..i just got some the other day and it's as good as anything i got in the "dam" s i call it..albiet this is a rare occurance but still!

Saw the title of this thread and couldn't resist reading it Yeah, I'd prefer walking into a coffeeshop in Amsterdam to buy weed above buying it from total stranger in the streets anytime! At least, if the stuff sucks (which it never seems to do 'round here), you know where to go and beat up the guy

Nah, just kidding. Amsterdam is said to be smokers heaven and in a way it is (with the coffeeshops and all), but I'm sure there is some damn good weed to be obtained anywhere. Just don't go off on Amsterdam untill you've actually been here and can compare it..

Apart from the coffeeshops (weed/hash) there are also 'smartshops' here, where you can buy all kinds of herbal drugs.. like herbal XTC, shrooms (only fresh ones if I'm correct, dry ones are illegal.. or was it vice versa? Hm.. never used it).

Kinda strange really.. I like in this country ànd city that is kinda known for it's easy to obtain softdrugs, yet I hardly tried anything.. hehe.. ah well.. that just shows that legalisation doesn't make everyone high all day. If it is as common as it is here, it's not especially 'cool' to 'smoke a dooby' or whatever.. sometimes you drink, sometimes you smoke.. nothing too special. Plus because you buy it at shops where they ONLY sell that stuff, it doesn't really function as a gateway drug, because the person who sells you the weed doesn't also sell shitty stuff like heroin or coke.
