All my life, I have had these moments where I am suddenly remembering a dream I had of the scene that is playing out before my eyes. Sometimes, theyre very fleeting, other times I get glimpses into random events in the future which I generally dont understand until they occur. Occasionally, they have been so strong, I sit there kinda stunned by them. Of course, when they first became very prominent (in my late teens) I was ga-ga over them, they totally proved to me that something was going on that was more than what 'rational' people would have you believe. So I would talk to people about them. I got various explanations, the most popular being that there is a delay between the image hitting your brain and your brain realizing the image. But all that theory proved to me was that the other people couldn't understand what I was feeling. So time went on, and I kept this stuff more and more to myself, and at the same time, the remembered dreams kept popping up, with feelings of hope attached to them, like I was going on the right path. But even after all this time (im 36 now) I still don't know what to do with these feelings or why they are there.

I've talked to some people who have had similar experiences, but none of them knew any more than I. Has anyone here had these things happen to them? Ive also had premonitions about things as well, but I typically don't realize I am having one when it happens. For instance, a couple of days before the London bombing, I started to think that the next terrorist strike would probably be in England... :(

alot of people have this happen to them. precognitions happen to very many people. however a high percentage of those people simply do not understand the feelings or realisations they have because they are not discussed or accepted in their communities. if you ask somepeople about the the way dreams connect with reality they will give you all the rational and physical reasons they can. simply becasue then it is a closed matter. other people will give you reasons that they believe to be true because they have had these experiences too. but you must remember that all these are opinions, and becasue so many people dream in so many different ways affecting all different aspects of their life, then there opinion mite not have relevance to your situation. Sit down, in a space with only a few sentimental possesions around you, close your eyes and concentrate on the energy inside your body. then concentrate on the way that energy is affected by the outside world. when you feel tired have a rest and write down a mind map of what you just thought of. and make sure u dont smoke any pot- it can destroy the purity of thought. wen i do this it connects my body to nature far more, and precognitions occur far more frequently. plus i feel real great. hope this helpful. sorry if it is not what you were lookin for

I'll have to try it sometime, but Im not sure if I want more precognitions. But then again, that may just be dread associated with the whole predicting the bombing on 7/7, and some other feelings Ive had about bad things that came true. Still, if it might help heighten my awareness, I'll try it. Maybe it will also enhance the kind of psychic feelings I get about what other people are thinking too, that I wouldnt mind as much as the future-glimpses.
