Occasionnaly when Im home sick or soemthin Ill half watch some bullshit soap opera. And Ive always wondered. Why the hell do they have that wierd look about them. I cant explain it but I know people have noticed it. Almost like its live. So you can immedietly point out a soap opera when you see it. Anyone?
I think some of them are live aren't they? I dunno...bleah on soap operas. My mom has HER "shows" she watches...they just drive me crazy. I watched Days of Our Lives for a month or so back when one of the women on their was possessed. God it was hilariously stupid, I just had to watch lol....kinda how that one Passions is all the time...I have a friend who watches that religiously...bleah.
I occasionaly watch soaps. Mainly because it rubbed off on me due to my grandma and mom watching them while growing up. Some of them are really stupid...ok about all of them are stupid. But I just get caught up in all the stupid crap that goes on.
Oh I know exactly what you're talking about!!!!! I always just assumed it was really bad acting .... haha.
1. they have no rehearsal 2. thinner acting (you can put the best actor in history on a soap opera and after a few years they'll drop in quality , they'll fatigue) 3. Certain ones use camera filters 4. shit load of plotlines at once 5. ressurection
All the actors look plastic to me. and yes there is a feeling that when the actors are reading their lines its als new to them as well as the viewers. Can't the producers seee how terrible these shows are or do they just not care?
I've wondered this soo many times! It must be something in the way they're filmed, it just looks 'wrong' or something!
Had a roomate who was a soap head. She'd record the damn things for when she got off work. Yeah, they are weird looking, and I'd have to retreat to my hermit cave.
YES. Im glad other people know what Im talking about. But you guys are right, the plot lines are so absurd. And people are always talking to themselves. I guess thats why theyre on a 2pm...cus they suck. Sweet.
i noticed that too. it has a darker look to it. the lighting in all soap operas is probably meant to be poor.
miss any soap for 3 months and you can expect to find that they're still at the same party, someone's in a coma, someone killed someone else who later turns out not to be dead, it's all crap
